Roots To Sky welcomes children in mixed-age groups. The program is designed to support K-7 students, allowing younger children to learn from older ones and older children to grow into leadership roles.

If you’re unsure whether your child is a good fit, feel free to reach out.

Roots To Sky is not a full-time school. It is a two-day-a-week outdoor program designed to complement home learning.

Many families combine the program with their own learning rhythm at home.

We spend time outdoors in all seasons. Rain, snow, and changing weather are part of the experience.

With proper clothing, children stay comfortable and often enjoy these days the most. Safety is always a priority, and activities are adjusted when needed.

Children who enjoy being outdoors, learning through movement and play, and exploring at their own pace often thrive here.

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to talk and help you get a sense of whether the program feels right for your child.
